Side Project: Animal Behaviour

Aside from street photography, I try to venture into other forms of photography as well. It is always good to keep an open mind to introduce different conceptions that may aid my street photography/documentary projects. Not to mention, it helps to prevent burn out too. So I have other smaller projects to work on.

No matter what I photograph, it always ends up in some sort of project. I have discontinued some of them over the years. Not sure if they will ever see the light of day. Re-introduced some of the discarded images into other projects too. It's a messy process but I love it.

Recently I have been bringing my son to the zoo frequently to look at animals. My wife and I get a kick out of looking at how he reacts towards them. As usual, I do what I usually do. Documenting the family. But every once in a while, I photograph for myself too.

Ended up with a new sketchbook of a project called "Animal Behaviour" from all those zoo visits. Let's see how it goes.
