In 2014, l began exploring my own country, Singapore, with a camera. As I wandered about, l noticed a common theme among the moments I've collected: a sense of quiet desperation amongst the people.
In recent years, Singapore has become increasingly complex within.
The demographic has shifted drastically. The common folks I've observed and spoken to during my wanderings seem to be forlorn and uneasy about the future.Asylum of Glass is my personal ongoing study of this quiet desperation. These photographs provide no answers. What I hope they do is question.
